Appearance
It´s length is about 1.5m to 2 m and it weighs about 20 lbs. It usually ranges from a lime green color to a brownish/greyish green color to a blueish-green color to an arboreal color. Males usually have dewlaps, which are a bag- like body part that hangs from the chin, kind of like turkeys (gobo-gobo). Some iguanas have spines on their back, to use as protection. They have a scaly body, kind of like their fellow reptile, the Komodo Dragon. Their feet are really good for climbing, like another fellow reptile, the gecko, except iguanas can´t climb windows because of their lack of the sucking mechanism the gecko has (like the suction darts).
